How does Keepsake Memorial Jewellery work?

How do I send my loved ones ashes/hair to you?

We only need a small amount of ashes/hair (teaspoon). Please do not send all of the ashes/hair, we suggest you safeguard the rest in the very unlikely event the package should go astray.

We recommend that you send your ashes/hair to us via recorded delivery, that way you can track your parcel should you need to.

All ashes and hair are treated with respect and dignity, and will be kept sealed until ready to use.

Please post the ashes/hair to Keepsake Memorial Jewellery, 287 Holcombe Road, Rossendale, Lancashire, BB4 4NP.

Alternatively, ask for a collection pack, there is an option when placing your order. This will be sent out first class free of charge.

All unused ashes/hair will be returned to you along with your item of jewellery via Royal Mail Signed and Tracked Service.

Will I be able to see my loved ones ashes in my jewellery?

You have the option to choose whether you want the ashes/hair visible or hidden in the jewellery. You should use the dropdown boxes on the product to select your requirements when placing your order.

I would like to buy a piece of keepsake jewellery as a gift, how is best to do that?

A piece of bespoke memorial jewellery can be a very personal choice therefore we recommend purchasing one of our E Vouchers, so that the recipient can make their own choices.

When you purchase an E Voucher, a unique code will be emailed to you or the recipient immediately so they can use their gift straight away.

How do I care for my memorial jewellery?

Caring for your jewellery is important to maintain its beauty. Avoid contact with chemicals such as household cleaners, chlorine and cosmetics. These substances can cause tarnishing and damage. When not wearing, store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, preferably in a jewellery box, this helps prevent scratches and oxidation.  Regularly clean your jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any tarnish or dirt. For a deeper clean, use a mild soap solution and warm water and dry thoroughly. Avoiding any abrasive materials that could scratch the surface. Although your jewellery is durable, avoid wearing your jewellery during activities that may cause physical damage or expose it to harsh conditions, such as swimming, gardening, or heavy lifting.

How do I send a photograph for my locket?

Once you have placed your order, please email us the photograph to sales@keepsakememorialjewellery.co.uk, stating your name and order number and we will do the rest.
